Buddy Tubinaghtewa is from the Hopi Village of Sipaulavi and is of the
Sunforehead Clan. Inspired by his grandfather, he first started to
carve at the age of eight. Today, his unique carvings are sought by
collectors from around the world.
Buddy is a featured artist in the Trail of Painted Ponies project and has painted four ponies to date.
This video illustrates how Lizard Light Productions uses the panning of still photography and music to give a sense of motion and excitement. It was produced in July 2006 and represents our ongoing partnership with individual Native American artists to help tell their story and promote their art.
